How about it?

after answering a few questions , i finally have my own..im due to travel to wales by August 15th (4 days official and 10 exploring days). I'll be staying in Cardiff with a colleague.

-My question is Hows the place (heard its quite boring - i beg to differ) ?

-Travel options - is walking.hiking possible?

-Im a foodie so some nice place to eat as i don't trust my colleague's taste buds, all he had while he was here was hotdogs & subs.

any other suggestion are welcome.

P.S. I got some cheap travel deals for this trip from crystal travel in london, i used them some time back are they good? i had a conversation bout this so wanted to be sure.

May be better to put this question in a Wales or Cardiff forum.

Question in the United Kingdom forum can get a bit "lost" or not be seen by area experts.

It sounds as though you haven't done much basic research yourself - eg you could type "wales walking" into Google. North Wales is maybe best known for walking. In the south though there are the Brecon Beacons mountains & National Park. Further west there's the Pembrokeshire coastline, also a good spot.
