From UK to France via train? Visa needed?

Hello. I will be entering the UK without a visa because as an airline crew we are visa exempted even if I am a Filipino passport holder. I would like to go to Paris via train from maybe London...

Once I reach France (Paris) via Train, will they ask me for my passport? I do not have a Shengen visa.

Looking forward to your helpful replies.

You will have to show your passport. However the French passport control is not in Paris but in London at St Pancras Station. So if you are denied entry it will happen before you board the train. However I do not know whether you will be denied entry or not.

Visas are important. Do not rely on well-meaning advice from random amateurs on a travel forum. Contact a French Embassy.

As you are crew, does your airline fly to Paris ? And if it does, are you required to have a visa to fly there ? Your HR department should have the answer.

You will be visa exempt for the purposes of your job and that alone, for anything else normal visa rules will apply

France (FR)

Passport required.

- Passports and/or passport replacing documents must be valid

for at least 3 months beyond the period of intended stay.

Visa required, except for A max. stay of 90 days (SEE NOTE

Schengen Member State
