Burns Night Celebrations

Telegraph Travel has listed their best places around the UK to celebrate Robert Burns birthday with neeps, tatties, poetry and more (whisky I hope):

telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/10594438/B…

The Phileas Fogg themed Burns Supper in Mayfair sounds like a hoot, or should that be hootenanny? Has the Telegraph Travel missed any equally great Burns Nights around the country that can be recommended?

Happy Burns night tomorrow folks!

What a great idea Purple to give suggestions from the Telegraph, there does appear to be a lot going on to celebrate this wonderful cultural and enjoyable evening.

From locals and visitors alike to taking part in Burns night either this evening or of course on the 25th have a great night. Hope there are plenty of events planned in Ayrshire as ever...shall miss joining in up there. Had a great night at the Ivy House one time.

However we shall be celebrating here at home with 'Burns an all that'! To a mouse...but hopefully no rats.....

Haha!

Visit Scotland (Scottish Tourist Board) have put together a cute little video especially for the occasion: The Tale of the Wild Haggis, from first sight to Burns Night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuLbbXGFG50
