Cottages in Cornwall

Myself and a group of 5-7 friends in our late 20s are looking for a cottage to rent over May half term week in Cornwall. We are looking at finding something around Tintagel or Padstow. We would like somewhere that isn't too far away from beaches and other attractions and also somewhere that has got some nice pubs and restaurants nearby.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Robbie you would get more positive results posting on the Cornwall forum.

May half term many will have been booked up already so your choice may be limited.

Will you be driving down or relying on public transport?

Also how important is it for your group to stay at Padstow or Tintagel ?

For a younger group I would suggest Fowey, which has a good choice of pubs and restaurants and is situated by a harbour.

Padstow is a lot more low key and Tintagel doesn't offer a lot asides from a great coastline.

Perranporth is coastal with lots of bars, pubs and places to eat.

Looe also is quite a vibrant town with pubs, restaurants etc...

As already stated by the previous post,a lot of places will be fully booked for Whitsun week.

Though I am sure you will find something.
