Lake District or Scotland's west?

Currently in the Lake District with a limited days (4 days) Question is: head up to Scotland's west or stick around and enjoy the Lake District? Any advice?

Toss a coin. Are you not enjoying the Lake District? Not enough to do?

Scotland will take out another day and driving back to London - if that's where you will be going will take a very long time. It is half term school hols so the roads are likely to be busy.

Why would you want to move? Without knowing that, its hard to advise.

If you want another scenic area close to the Lakes, try the Galloway Forest Park, less than 2 hours drive over the border....
