Ely marina and Ely park

I intend to visit Ely next month and have certain views of the cathedral I'd like to film. I'm very keen on pictures with the river in the foreground, ie. meaning, I'd need to be somewhere around the marina or railway embankment area. What I'd like to know is if the whole of this little region is open to the public [including the grassy bits near the 2 railway bridges]. Also, is the whole of the town park accessible and is one able to walk on the grass?

The bridge over the Ouse to the marina has a Private Property sign half way across, if that's any help. The railway embankment is fenced off as well.

Hi mate, if you look on Bing Maps, and look at the Ordinance survey option: You'll see loads of lakes with public footpaths running all around them.
