A little blonde hedgehog for me

Hello,

my trip to Alderney is next weekend.

Very much looking forward to it.

I would really really like to see an Alderney blonde hedgehog. Lots of websites mention them, the the visit Alderney site (linked below) has a page about them. But where can I actually see one? Will I just fall over them in the street? Or do I need to go out to a nature reserve (at night?) to see them? I am assuming they won't still be hibernating as Southampton's hedghogs are awake and out and about already (I feed them in my garden).

I saw one at night, when I was camping and had to make a midnight trip to the loo.....otherwise, I'd say your chances to see one just like that are pretty slim...?
