Bus 7a

Will be in Guernsey on Wednesday and considering taking the 7a bus to view the island. Do you suggest getting off somewhere en route or is it best to stay on and enjoy the ride? Also, is it a circular journey i.e. if we pay £1 and do not get off, will that take us back into town? Lastly whereabouts is the 7a bus stop in St Peter Port. Thanks for help.

Buses leave from South Esplanade near the harbour. You can go right round the island and back to your starting point in about an hour and a half for the £1 fare. If you get off and get back on another bus you have to pay again. The 7a goes round the island anti-clockwise while the 7 does the same route in the clockwise direction. There's one every 20 minutes in each direction.
