Hi,

There was a question about this yesterday (if you want to search for "passports").

According to jersey.com, UK citizens don't need a passport to enter Jersey, but most airlines will require a photo ID of passengers, so a passport would do for that.

You need to check with your airline what their rules are for children.

You are best to bring your passports for each passenger including children. All the airlines are strict on this and you will not be able to travel without ID. If you don't have a passport, some official form of photo ID is essential so things such as a Driving Licence or other official documents with a certified photograph are acceptable. I don't know what children have as ID these days so better to be safe than sorry and use a passport for each passenger. You may well decide to do a day trip to France and then passports are essential.

It depends who you're travelling with.

Flybe, BA, BMIbaby, Jet2, VLM & Aurigny all allow children under 16 to travel to the Channel Islands with no ID as long as they are accompanied by their parent or guardian.
