Akkarin is correct any beach in Jersey is good.

St Brelades,Greve de lecq & Plemont being our favourites.

If you have a car you can try any of them & find which one is to your liking

Have a good trip

So many choices!!

St Aubin Bay from St Helier to St Aubin - one large beach, but not the most picturesque.

Portlet - very quiet as there are no facilities and a lot of steps up and down. But Portlet Inn is at the top.

Quaisne - which leads into St Brelade. Free parking here. Old Smugglers Inn is a nice place.

St Brelade - probably the main tourist beach on the island

Beauport bay - small cover with lots of steps up and down - again no facilities

St Ouen - one long long beach with parking spots all the way along

North coast:

Greve De Lecq beach is a nice small sandy beach with a number of beach side cafes and plenty of parking.

Plemont is for low tide exploring

Then there are the smaller bays on the north coast of

Bouley Bay - which is pebble and has a pub called the Black Dog (decent lunch)

Bonne Nuit - serves Thai food Friday and Saturday night (BYO)

Rozel - good place for a lunch stop at the Hungry Man cafe (avoid weekends as it gets really busy)

St Catherines - breakwater to sit out on

Gorey Harbour and beach down to the golf club.

Dramatic East and SE coast at low tide - if you walk around the rockpools here just make sure you know the tide times and it comes in quickly here.

Just jump in the car and head around the coast - plenty of places to stop at and enjoy. Watch for parking charges though. Some charge but most don't. Get some scratch cards - most garages, supermarkets, corner shops sell them.

There are few to choose from but my hitlist would be:

Plemont... at low tide

Green Island... at high tide

If you want some out of the way gems then head to the north-east corner of the Island and Suez Harbour and La Coupe
