Train station to bus station

How long does it takes to get from the railway station to the bus station using the shuttle? Also, is there a specific schedule of the shuttle and can the tickets be bought on the spot? If you take the shuttle, do you still have to walk? Thank you.

Is there a staffed train station in Chirk and are the tickets the same price if you buy them in advance from the station? Thanks a ton.

Shuttle goes every 10 to 15 minutes and is not bookable in advance. Just pay the driver Journey 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic. Walk from Frodsham Street to bus station should be 10 minutes max at normal walking place.

Sorry don't know about the station at Chirk

Chirk station is unmanned. In fact there's not much of anything at Chirk station. But there is (or at least was a couple of years back) a ticket vending machine there that you can buy your ticket from or you can buy it on the train from the conductor. For local journeys the price is the same ether way. And it's no cheaper to buy in advance.

Have fun.

train journeys are usually cheaper to book in advance, not sure about local ones like that. Look at trainline.colm.

NO, don't look at thetrainline! Not unless you want to pay more than you have to. Why do people keep recommending that dreadful website?

Only certain journeys are cheaper to book in advance, and usually not short local ones.

Go here > http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ for train times and prices, and it will re-direct to the relevant train company website to purchase.
