Small village near the beach

Hi

The more I look and read TA's forum, the more I'm spoilt for choice! Can anyone recommend a small village - pub, shop, beach, possibly near a town? Carbis bay sounds perfect, just proving difficult to get accommodation.

Thank you

What about Perranporth, not far from Newquay, but total opposite to it as it's small seaside resort with Main Street of shops , pubs and eateries, but very relaxed and fairly peaceful with a huge beach.

It is about 7 miles from both Newquay and Truro with a bus service to these and St Agnes.

Duchy holidays may have some holiday accommodation available too
