I'll be travelling by car from Port Isaac to catch the ferry from Fishguard in Wales. I'd like to know the road distance between these two towns please.
According the route planner on http://www.theaa.com it is 282 miles and takes 51/2 hours without stops. According to when you are travelling you may want to allow extra as the route can get very busy in holiday periods in particular at weekends.Edited: 09 August 2011, 11:34
Interesting, isn't it? ...
Google maps UK tells me it's 276 miles (M5, M4) and will take a minimum of 5hrs 5mins.
Where did the missing 6 miles go? Do Google mappers drive faster than AA members?
Thanks a lot- whether 276 or 282 miles, your replies have been helpful and the AA website link great for planning drive.
