A good choice; there is loads to see and do in Cornwall.

The official tourist website would be a good place to start:

If you are not driving, it is easy to get from Bristol to many parts of Cornwall by train, and there are numerous bus services.

Cornwall's unique tin mining area is a world heritage site and is very interesting and also has nice scenery, walks and a cycle trail. If this interests you a good place to start is the Heartlands Project just off the A30 between Redruth and Camborne

All the places you have suggested sound good. Are you driving? If so, I'd suggest a couple of days in Port Isaac area and the rest in Mevagissey so you can explore some of the south coast from there. You probably won't get down to the far west, but there's plenty to see in a week in those places.

We stayed in Port Isaac in August. First time to Cornwall and wish we'd stayed two weeks. Here are a number of places we visited.

Tintagel and Boscastle

St Ives

Newquay (hated the place, best bit was Fistral beach for the surfing)

Minack Theatre

St Micheals Mount

Trewtha Bay

. Tried to find accommodation to extend the holiday but had no luck. Visiting again next year to do...

Camel Trail

Rock and Polzeath

....the list could go on
