Where to enjoy a good cup of tea

We will be staying in Holsworthy. We have rented a car to explore the surrounding towns. Thanks to TA we got a good idea of the towns and places that should be visited. As 1. timers in Devon we would like to enjoy a good cup of tea and pastries ( hopefully more than just one cup). Would apperciate suggestion of where to go for a good cup of tea. Thanks.

I can recommend the Rectory Tearooms at Morwenstow - not too far from Holsworthy by car and in a lovely location:

Riotstar may be able to confirm but there may still be a very good tea shop in Westward Ho. It was called Tea on the Green and featured in many newspaper articles. If it's still there it's certainly worth a visit.
