Cophthorne Hotel

Hi,

I wanted to know where is the center of the city, I’m looking for places to walk in the evening, some shoppig mall, restaurants, park.

Is the cophthorne hotel is in good location for the things I look for?

If not, what hotel do you recommend? I need a big hotel because I’m coming with a big group of tourists

Thank you 🙏🏻

The Copthorne Hotel in Plymouth is on the northern edge of the City Centre and not far from the railway station.

Plymouth City Centre is not huge, the main shopping area is along Armada Way and the streets to the side, which are largely pedestrianised. There is a small indoor shopping centre called Drake's Circus.

For walking in the evening I would recommend The Hoe (also a large park) and The Barbican area. You get to these by walking down Armada Way and across Royal Parade.

Other big hotels you could look at are the Crowne Plaza and the Jury's Inn.
