Campsites in Dorset

We're looking for a Dorset campsite that has views of the sea, but is also not too far away to walk to a town/village with some pubs.

We don't want an all singing and dancing site - just something that has decent showers and, preferably, where the pitches are not too close to one another.

Can anyone advise, please?

From Highcliff through to Sandbanks ( Poole Bay ) there are no campsites for tents that I can think of that fit your discription. Most are a few miles away from the beach

Hi jackie.

Have a look at www.lulworth.com - around the Lulworth & Durdle door areas you will get some superb sea views.

There are also several campsites around the Burton Bradstock - Bridport - Eype - Charmouth areas.

All very close to the sea. Hope this helps.

Hi there

Three great campsites we've stayed at close to Weymouth...

Al are highly recommended in the AA Camping & Caravan guide

We are going here next week. Not been before, but it comes highly recommended.

Nice views, and a great pub on the coast within a short walk. Its in Osmington mills.
