City Centre Parking

Can anybody tell me which is the most convenient car park for the city centre. I know there used to be one down the hill - what is it called. Thank you

Depends which side of town you want to be - I prefer parking in the Milburn Gate carpark generally cause I find the carpark a less 'tight fit' than the others I've used. There is a new carpark in the Walkergate complex that I haven't tried yet (near the gala theatre).

The one Booney is thinking of may be gone - depending (!)

There's a big open-air one on the Sands (but not as big as it was ...)

Alternatively, there are several Park and Rides. Free parking and £1.70 return to the city. Travelling from the Toon, your best one will be the Carrville one.
