Norfolk broads pub restaurant

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could advise us (a group of 6 friends) on a nice pub to have dinner at on the broads? Many thanks

Are you travelling by boat? Are you wanting a pub actually on the riverside?

Thanks, we won't be travelling by boat, but one that over looks the river would be nice.

Not a pub but a lovely cafe restaurant we use which over looks the water. Open for lunch and dinner all year round.

Consider the Cantley Cock. It doesn't overlook any rivers, but pubs that are on the river tend to cater for holiday trade, especially in summer.

Some of the very best home-cooked food in the area. Pretty much everything is cooked on the premises, very little bought-in stuff. It's very busy, lunch times and evenings, so it's wise to telephone for a booking. Most pub landlords would give their eye teeth for the trade the Cock attracts! Good selection of beer and at a guess 70-80 different malts. If you're wanting a bit of quiet, ask for table 10, it's a bit more peaceful. It's listed on TA.

I would agree with the Cock at Cantley. Especially reccomended is their 'Fish and Chip' special on Friday nights - cod or haddock, chips &peas for a fiver, and a very good portion too.

For waterside inns, you will be pleased with the Bridge at Acle. Trip Advisor listed
