Pubs that allow dogs

We are staying for about a week over Easter at a cottage in Hindolveston, a village (hamlet?) about 7 miles from Fakenham and Holt and 3 miles from Thursford. I have looked at a few sites that give dog friendly pubs but few of the pubs have recenr reviews. Have any of you any good suggestions. We are not necessarily looking for "fine dining" but good pub food and hopefully real ale. If you know if they are serving Sunday eve. so much the better.

Thanks

Bob

The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market is dog friendly, but expensive (as is everything else in Burnham Market!)

Take a look at

we take our grandpuppy to the White Horse at Holme next the Sea, good pub food, dogs welcome and lots of walks in the area.

Ah yes, I'd quite forgotten the White Horse. It's quite a way from Hindolveston, though, but well worth a visit. Slighly off the beaten track, off the main road in the centre of Holme village, it has a good garden (if the weather ever improves!). The nearby beach has protected areas for nesting birds, so you'll need to keep the dog under control.

A bit late but for future reference ... The Ostrich Inn - South Creake ... dog friendly and the best chips in the area, just ask for the hand cut ones

or look at theses sites
