Cranmer cottages with toddler

Hi. Thinking about staying in one of the Cranmer Country Cottages, near Fakenham, for a week in June/July. We've got a son who will be almost 2 when we go. Does anyone know what these cottages are like? Can't find any reviews on here.

Also wondering if this is a good location & if there will be enough to do in the area for a toddler. I know there are lots of good beaches, but is there much if the weather is bad?

Thanks :-)

Having looked on the internet, there seems more than one Cranmer Country Cottage site within reach of Fakenham. Where are the cottages you are thinking of going situated?

Thanks for the reply. The cottage we were looking at is no longer available, so thinking of either Weybourne Home Farm Cottages or one of the 'villas' at Cromer Country Club. Not sure which to go for.

Weybourne is a small pleasant village with many traditional flint buildings. It has a shop and pub but not much else, but is close to Sheringham & Holt.

Cromer CC is a purpose built resort complex on high ground near the lighthouse on the edge of town. It was built in the 1980s, and I believe that some of the units are privately owned, which can mean standards vary.

Whichever you choose, you will only be a short drive to a nice beach, and will have a great time.

I think of Weybourne as the perfect Norfolk village, it has a church, a pub and a windmill, and flint cottages backing towards the sea.

Thanks everyone. Think we will go with Weybourne. Sounds like it's the best option, particularly with a toddler. Fingers crossed for some good weather! ;-)
