Best way to go to Beachy Head by Public Transport

Hi All,

I am coming to Brighton next month by train with my sister at around 10 am( got the tickets). I have not been to Brighton since I was Teenager so it will be good to spend whole day in Brighton.

Next day which is Saturday, we plan to get up early (6-7 am )and try and see other places near Brighton. I want to see Beach Head, Lewis and also maybe Rye. I am thinking of buying the Southern all network Downlander with travel to all southern network and buses for about £12.50 which will also take us to London Victoria late evening.

What is best way to get to Beachy head by public transport?

Are there any other places which you recommend? I have been to Bognor Regis few years back but not to Arundale, Chichester or Worthing.

I appreciate all your suggestions/ advice.

Thank you in advance

Apparently, there is a regular bus service run by the Brighton Bus Company between Brighton & Beach Head history.buses.co.uk/bustimes/tt12-050409.pdf

Highly recommend Arundel, Diva.

Lovely little town for 1/2 a day. But I also agree with Bo, that chilling out in Brighton is hard to beat.

Rye would be worth a visit as it's a pretty little town :)

I like Arundel too, I went there in February (and it was raining at the time) and it's gorgeous to look around.

If you go to Arundel around lunch time, check out The Town House in the main street, up the hill opposite the castle. They do really good set lunches for around £15.00 a head for 2 courses. Lobster & strawberrys, that sort of thing :-)
