Traditional but comfortable inn to stay in North Cotswolds

Hi there,

We are spending 3 days in the Cotswolds before driving up to the Lake District. I was hoping someone might be able to advise us where to stay - we are looking for a traditional pub or inn - but somewhere that is comfortable as well as a little lively so we can interact with the locals. We would prefer not to stay somewhere too touristy.

I had seen the Ebrington Arms in Chipping Campden but unfortunately it is booked out.

I have left the planning to the last minute - we are leaving this weekend (sat).

Thanks in advance!

I'm not surprised there's no response yet, - it's a bit of a tall order at such short notice!

here are a few links for you to try:

www.the-bell-willersey.com

The Crown & Trumpet in Broadway, (google it!) - the web link it toooooooo long!

Hope that helps.
