Traveling on Shoestring - Can anyone recommend lodging?

I will be coming to the Literary Festival in October. Can anyone recommend a B&B or Guesthouse that is near town centre, decent, and under 25 pounds/night?

Many thanks for your help!

£25 is a bit "lean" for B& B, even leaner close to town centre

You could do YHA

Or for nearer £33 each, with breakfast, heres a few suggestions

Burlingtonhouse.net

Wishmoor.co.uk

Nearer of the two....

Without recommendation, but I have seen both, and they look clean and reasonable

The YMCA is right in the town centre and a cheap way of staying in Cheltenham. It is off a side street so will be quiet from a traffic point of view.

Haven't been there recently but rooms always seemed clean and reasonable.

You could try the travelodge in Cheltenham. It is 10 min bus ride from town centre. Travelodge does offers so you can grab one of their offers

Not sure where's your Festival (Henley-on-Thames)? But on our trip last month we saw a YHA in Stow-on-the Wold, in the centre of town, with the nearest train at the next village of Moreton-in-Marsh. Believe they charge 18GBP single.
