Convenient hotel for foot passengers on Brittany Ferries

I'll be travelling with a group of other ladies on Brittany Ferries to Caen in July. Can anyone please recommend a couple of decent hotels not too far from the ferry terminal. Also advise, if I will need to take a taxi from hotel to port. Thanks.

There is a Travellodge right by the port. It is in easy walking distance, and as you are in the company of several other people, no need for a taxi.

Yes, the Travelodge does look to be very close. However, the reviews are dreadful - anywhere else?

Hi, I did reply to your pm.

All the Hotels in Portsmouth will require a taxi apart from the TL.

So have a look at the hotel reviews to help you decide.

Only you know what your buget is.

Cheapest normally will the Etap, from £28 per night per room.

Taxi ride should be no more than around £5-£9 depending on when you are staying.
