Parking in Portsmouth Bank Holiday Weekend

I am looking for somewhere to park a transit van near to Portsmouth harbour this weekend, Friday to Monday. Apparently the multi-storey long term at the harbour is unavailable (helpful!) so can anyone please recommend somewhere to park, free is great but I don't mind paying. Thanks in advance

Would you have got a transit van in a multi story park anyway .... I doubt it given how high they are. You need to be looking for a street level car park. http://motorhomeparking.co.uk/ham.htm#port en.parkopedia.co.uk/free/portsmouth/parking/ but ignore supermarket places as a lot now have cameras fitted that log you in and out. Overstay say 3 hours and you end up getting a ticket.

Otherwise only other suggestion would be to come out a bit and find a nice side street. It's what I usually do when I go that way.

£6 parking 24 hours

If you come in on the motorway

straight across the 1st round about

2nd exit (Right) on the 2 round about

and you will see it on your left (covered by CCTV)

or park away from the sea front or Milton, eastney areas for free parking and grab a taxi.... 02392666666 Aquacars
