Depends if you can fly from Southampton to Paris.

If not, get a train to London and Eurostar from there.

Looks like there are flights from SOU to PAR on the date needed. Can I get a train in Southampton? Or do I have to go back to London for that? I would it be better to get back to London and fly from there if flying?

I think you will find that Air France and FlyBe code share on the Southampton-Paris route, the flights are on FlyBe planes. The price may differ depending on who you book with but everything else is the same!

There are frequent trains to London. You need to get to St Pancras station in London for the Eurostar trains to Paris. I believe it is possible to buy a combined ticket

Southampton airport is, by definition, near Southampton. Look at a map - why on Earth would you want to go all the way from the ship to London to get to Southampton ?

I think we've established over multiple threads that your options are:

1. Fly from Southampton to Orly with Flybe.

2. Head to central London and cacth the Eurostar from St Pancras

3. Go to Heathrow and fly to CDG,

Normally, I'd consider number three the least preferable thinking that if you were going to travel in completely the wrong direction, then you might as well go for the train and at least end up in the centre of Paris. However, considering that you're coming off a cruise, presumably there will be ample coaches heading direct from the dock to Heathrow, and that might make that journey easier than it otherwise would be.

All you need to do now is compare prices, times, etc for the dates you are traveling and bearing in mind how much luggage you will have.

Most likely we will only have one large piece of stowed luggage each so I'll have to look at prices. Going back to London for either a flight or a train seems stupid to me but I've never done it so I figured I'd ask. The prices of th flights out of Southampton are not too different in $, just seems luggage is charged on flybe.
