Hi
I would like to know how much is bus ticket from ryde to seaview, and from seaview to yarmouth. I want to find out if 'the key' is going to be worth buying or not.
Thanks
'The Key' is actually a smartcard, rather like the Oyster Card in London. It is useful for residents, but visitors can buy tickets from the driver in the usual way.
The Rover tickets are £10 for 24 hours and £15 for 48 hours. A seven-day Freedom ticket is £24. All of these can be bought from the driver, you don't need to have a Key card.
Southern Vectis don't put individual point-to-point fares on their website, but you could phone or e-mail them.
Edited: 08 August 2012, 14:00Individual fares are quite high so Rover tickets will save you a lot if you are planning on doing multiple journies.
May I just ask, you aren't on the concessionary pass level? I'm just asking because uk over 65's passes and disabled are valid on the island but not on the railway.
