Isle of wight hotels

Has anyone got any suggestions for a 4 or 5 star Hotel around Ventnor or Shanklin, preferably in a quiet part, with good sea views and easy access for walking and touring the Island.

Thanks. Will be travelling by car via Portsmouth. Never been to the Isle of Wight before, just for myself and my wife, going at the beginning of September.

Take a look at The Hamborough and the Royal at Ventnor.

Hi Geoff

We stayed at the Enchanted Manor at Niton just down the road. We did lots of walking there, here is a review I did of it
