Sandown or Shanklin has IMO the best beaches, depends on what you mean by quiet. They don't get huge numbers of people these days but if you mean isolated they aren't, pictures on the link I gave you with the beaches on mizzgee

Ryde has a lovely childrens playground on the beach.

Yaverland will probably be your best quiet beach - mainly because you can walk towards Culver cliff, and people often find their own niche among the rocks there. But - there is always a problem of falling rocks, so I would suggest that you don't settle under a crevice!

As others have said...best beach depends what you are after.

Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are nice beaches with clean water and good facilities (parking, toilets, cafes) but get very busy. Compton Bay has less good facilities but is beautiful and good for watersports. Priory Bay and St Helens are lovely for looking out to the mainland but the water is very shallow so not much good for swimming. Some of the small bays on the South Wight are very isolated so are great for peace and quiet but they are hard to access. Colwell and Totland are nice for a swim but don't have much sand, compared to somewhere like Ryde. My personal favourite is Hanover Point near Brook. (isleofwightguru.co.uk/best-isle-of-wight-bea…)
