Any good country pubswithin 20 mile radius of Hull please?
I'm afraid your question is too generic to get a specific answer. The 20 mile radius of Hull is so wide as too include almost the whole county of East Yorkshire and in particular Holderness, and thus the answer must be yes. Somewhere therein will be a good pub; in fact there will be many!
The question is, what do you consider a good pub, and what do you consider a country pub? Is a village pub a country pub, or does it have to be isolated in the middle of nowhere? Is it a quiet drinking pub with real ales, or do you want some activities like bar billiards, pool, skittles, shove ha'penny, darts or a quiz? Should it serve food and have a great restaurant; perhaps its a gastro pub you seek? Perhaps it should be lively and full of people; or perhaps you could get the feeling you have entered Royston Vasey and worry that it is a local pub for local people (said in a sinister fashion)!
We have them all. One that should be checked out by any visitor to the area is "The White Horse" aka "Nellie's" in Beverley. I've written the guide to it on TA...Edited: 17 January 2011, 19:03

Pubs with real fires? Thanks folks!
There are Wetherspoon's in Hull that have the same menu as everywhere else.
Plenty of eateries; look on the restaurant section of TA:
