A few cheap pubs in the old town under £2 a pint. Hull City Centre as 3 Wetherspoons and 2 Sam's plus other cheap bars. Get dropped off at Holy Trinity Church it's just 50 yards to the Ye Olde Blue Bell and 100 yards from or so from 2 Wetherspoons. Will post details if you wish

Get dropped off at Holy Trinity Church on Lowgate, see map below photo.

With your back to the church turn left and within 50 yards you will see a Blue Bell up on the wall.

Into this Sam Smith's Pub.

Pub #2

Out of Blue Bell and turn left down Lowgate, take the first left, Silver Street and after 100 yards on your left is the William Wilberforce a Wetherspoons Pub.

Pub #3 Out of WW turn right and ahead down Land of Green Ginger and 50 yards on the right is the Courts Bar

http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3030454

Pub #4

Out of Courts Bar turn left then left again down Bowlalley Lane walk to the end, less then 100 yards to Lowgate, turn left and in 50 yards is the Three John Scotts a wetherspoons.

In this photo you are see a red bus 50 to the rear of that bus is the stop for the #77 bus to near the ferry. Be there by 16-50 and not a minute later or you may miss it. (does not run on Sundays) But if I was you I'd go by taxi, it will be around the same price or cheaper if you get mini bus taxis. The one I use is 01482 706706. They have never let me down. Prebook them with the # of people and ask for mini buses if possible. Order your taxi for no later then 17-00. The Tree John Scotts is a good place to get picked up as you can stand near the glass doors onto the road. Also ask for ringback and they will ring you when the taxi/s pull up.

Hope this is ok for you. Have fun.

Ian.
