Seek advice for half day itinerary in lake district

I will stay in Hawksmoor Guesthouse in Windermere for a few days in Jun. While I'm going to join Mountain Goat Tours (10 lakes, High Adventure and Eastern Lakes), I still have half day free(probably can start at around 13:00). After a long flight, I prefer something relaxing and would like to go to: 1. The World of Beatrix Potter, 2. Hawkshead, 3. Tarn Hows. However since I don't have a car, is it difficult/ feasible for me to go to Hawkshead and Tarn Hows by public transportation? And will the itinerary be too packed if I go to these 3 attractions in half day?

Another thought is that after visiting The World of Beatrix Potter, I may go to take an easy walk in Windermere/ Bowness on Windermere, say walking around the lake for 1 to 2 hours. If so, Can anyone suggest nice walk with scenic view?

I'm looking for comment and advice. Thank you very much!
