Family hotel away from clubs

We will be in Blackpool Sept 26-Oct 2 visiting family and using hotel as base for day/rail trips. We're not old fogies (61) but not into night club scene. Looking for friendly , clean hotel or B&B. Price is flexible, quality important, we don't want to be ripped off. Would prefer North Shore area, we're told by friends is a good location. No way are we planning to try and drive, so bus & tram routes important.

Thank you. A Brit Grit in N.C. USA

Try keying King Edward Avenue into Google...a nice north shore road. This B&B was always quite nice
