lytham or st annes

we have been coming to blackpool now for the last 13 yrs and have never actually got to visit the above places (too much going on in blackpool)

this year have decided we must visit so was wondering if they can both be done in one day via train or should we visit them separately.

can anyone advise please.

Both can be done in one day. St. Annes is a pleasant and quiet seaside rsort. Lytham is even more quiet.

It is about an hours leisurely walk along the front. I would personally spend a day in each. Lytham for its shops and cafes/restaurants/pubs and St Annes for the prom, beach and cafes. Both totally different places. And Lytham isn't quiet at all. It can get very busy on a nice day.

Hello,

We recommend St Anne's firstly.

You can walk on the beach as well as the Wood Sreet places to eat and drink.

Lytham has some nice shops, but is in the Ribble estuary and no sand,.

Pleasant stretch of green on the front.
