We are arriving at Liverpool Lime Street station and are staying at the Atlantic Tower which I believe isnt too far. Which is the best taxi company to use?

We are also off to Anfield for a tour after check in and want a taxi for this and return also. Approx how much will this cost?

You are probably best getting a black cab from the station - there are usually plenty on the stands at the side. For Anfield ask the hotel reception to order you one - as you won't know how long you will be in the ground, you may either wish to take the firms number to phone later or pick up a black cab outside the Kop - a fairly busy road and you shouldn't have any problem hailing one.

As scouselatic says it's probably quicker picking up a hackney for the short journey to your hotel. As for a taxi to Anfield, I think your probably looking at around £14 or £15 round trip.
