Is the heritage market any good these days .I am thinking of taking a drive from north Wales one Sunday but want to make sure it's worth it, thanks
Have you searched for this on this forum? There was a thread discussing it not long ago.
I wouldn't bother making a special trip for the Heritage market, compared to when it first started, its a fraction of the size it was, and the visitors that attend having gone dramatically down
there's still plenty of other sites in and around Liverpool worth making a drive for, although sadly not the heritage market
agree 100% with bigscouse
I've previously discussed this in a forum. Great Homer Street market (Greaty) is much better (runs on a Saturday 9-2ish) next to Everton Park Sports Centre if using sat nav etc.
Thank you for your advice, what about Birkenhead Market?and what do they sell in greaty Market?
Thanks in Advance .
Great Homer Street has everything from clothes, designer clothes, wedding things (shoes etc), furniture, make up. has an outside bit, with your usual market fare and an inside bit, which has some individual shops in it and tends to be a bit more expensive.. Not sure about Birkenhead market. There is also Tuebrook market, but not sure when runs.
There is a new Saturday and Sunday Market opening In march, 200 stalls open 9am - 4pm, with free parking, Sefton street, opposite Brunswick train station, ring 0151 207 7227
There is a new Saturday and sunday Market opening in march, 9am - 4pm.
Over 200 stalls and free car parking, Sefton street Liverpool L3, opposite Brunswick train station, will be worth a visit !!
The Heritage used to be massive but my mum went before Christmas and said that there was less than 25% of the amount of stalls there used to be.
Give the markets a miss..to be honest you will be better off going into the city and shopping at the likes of primark and sports direct. the markets were cheaper a couple of years ago but you can find thing just as cheap in the city and you will get a better returns policy.
