The Lord Nelson hotel is across the road from The Liner, have you checked there?

4. Re: accomodation

you may have to broaden your search for acomodation for that weekend..... Liverpool fc have a home game on the sat which always means inflated prices in the city centre especially sat night ( i notice that even the travelodge are asking £107 for that sat !!)

you could try and hold out as late as possible and a few places may drop there prices.

There are two excellent B&Bs in The Sefton /Princes Park area - a relatively short bus/taxi ride away from The Liner - both get fantastic reviews, and are both reasonably priced. The first is Sefton Villas; the second is No 15 Princes Park Mansions - both can be seen by looking at the B&B reviews on the Liverpool accommodation section.
