this weekend hen do/fancy dress where to go please

Hi, its my best mates wedding coming up and we are heading off to liverpool this weekend, we have plans fri, as are going to alma de cuba, but sat night we are doing fancy dress, as its coming up to xmas we are doing xmas themed fancy dress. We are aged 26-33 and love dance/funky house music and so far all the good bars/clubs we have tried to get private booths for will not allow fancy d.

we are not the type of girls that would enjoy a night in wetherspoons or vodka rev and we just dont know where to go, are there are cool bars/clubs that let in fancy dress or have we made a blunder with the fancy d? we are thinking of ditching the fancy dress if we cant get in anywhere good. any help would be appreciated! thanks in advance

You should get into places like The Tube, Remeniss and Flares on Mathew Street and Reflex on Concert Square.

However, they are all 70's, 80's and 90's theme clubs and all of the hen and stag parties head for those places.

Places like Igloo, Kingdom, Palm Sugar, Circo, The Living Room etc, which are the sort of places I imagine you would rather go to, all have strict dress codes.

You might get away with wearing fancy dress in Envi on Fleet Street, which is right next to Concert Square. Probably be best if you contact them:

Think you might struggle with fancy dress if you are looking for a night out in a "cool" bar/club .

Fancy dress has a reputation as a stags/hens night out in Liverpool and thus the upmarket places just dont allow it ... as Matt suggests there are plenty of 70s/80s theme bars which will allow fancy dress if thats what you are looking for ?.

Enjoy

P.S. Maybe a compromise ?

You would probably get away with all wearing a Santa Hat ,saying its your xmas night out.....always a good way to have a laugh and meet the locals !!

thanks guys for your replies! we are rethinking the fancy dress now! dont want to miss out on decent bars and have to end up in reflex, def not wanting 70s and 80s! wanting more vocal funky house so i think the outfits need to glam rather than tacky!

thanks you have helped!

You should have no problems getting into, Mojo Concert Square, Revolution St Peter Square and the djs play the type of music you are looking for and allow fancy dress, The above trendy bars Matt has mentioned defiantly wont allow fancy dress and are normally full of stuck up a**e holes to be blunt:)
