Which flat rental location would you choose?

Looking for opinions on these two potential flat rentals: I am deciding between a few: Could you comment on the location these (the others I posted yesterday are still in the running)?

#1 http://www.vrbo.com/80711

#2 MARLBOROUGH COURT, PEMBROKE ROAD, KENSINGTON, W8

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting/dining room, kitchen, porter. Nearest underground station: Earls Court. Altogether a

pleasant, comfortable flat conveniently located for the amenities of Earls Court and slightly further away High Street Kensington.

#3 CHAPELSIDE, MOSCOW ROAD, NOTTING HILL W2

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room, open plan kitchen area. High Speed Internet Access. Nearest underground station: Notting Hill Gate.

A charming mews house situated in a tiny backwater street just a few blocks from the centre of Notting Hill Gate. A quiet spot, but with the action and buzz of London located in Queensway just two blocks away, with an excellent variety of restaurants and specialist food stalls - plus famous Notting Hill Gate and the underground only a five minute walk away.

tg6677: After looking at all of them, I'd go with the Gloucester Rd. one (http://www.vrbo.com/47056). I've stayed in that area several times and really like it.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Any input on the Notting Hill flat - that area sounds interesting! And I like the idea of being near a few different Tube lines.

The Notting Hill ones are actualluy closer to Bayswater and Queensway tubes. More central than Earls Court.

Hi again - sorry to hear that the Sloane Square one fell through. I like the sound of the Bayswater one (saying it is Notting Hill is a misdescription - it is a short walk to Notting Hill proper (which to me is those roads with the communal gardens showing on a map and the bit around Portobello).

That said, you are close to Kensington Gardens are close to a couple of tube stops...mews' can be a little dark so check the photos carefully.

I would keep away from the Earls Court...far too many Aussies!

I am having such a hard time choosing! Thank you London forum members for all your help. Here is my final final question. I really appreciate your input. I lived in New York City for a few years so I equate London to that. Every neighborhood has its pluses and minuses and there are so many different opinions!

If you had to rank the flats below, which would be your order of preference?

tg6677: My ranking is based strictly on neighborhood and how close the apartment is to the tube.
