What sort of food and budget please and whereabouts in London?

I like Delaunay at the Aldwych, Bellanger in Islington, most branches of Le Pain Quotidien, my local deli and very occasionally Mcdonalds.

I like The Riding House Cafe: http://www.ridinghousecafe.co.uk/

I've also heard excellent things about the Gaucho Electro Brunch, though I haven't yet been myself: gauchorestaurants.com/events/…

There is no standard breakfast or brunch worth travelling across London for. Best to specify your location and budget. Most places that do brunch serve it weekends only so it's hard to find on weekdays. Of course you could always just order a large breakfast. For most Londoners a weekday breakfast is not such a huge meal that they can do without lunch afterwards.

Dishoom is always great (their bacon naan is basically the best thing ever invented) - http://www.dishoom.com/

I would second the Delaunay and Wolseley - https://www.thewolseley.com/breakfast

Also Fortnums is good for breakfast - https:/…the-gallery

For more of a pancakes type brunch scenario, there's The Diner off Carnaby Street - http://goodlifediner.com/locations/soho/

MB's behind Aldgate station for the best toasted cheese sandwich in London. Their fry-ups also look good.

"Best" is relative when it comes to food.. My veggie omelet is not your lox and bagels. In this regard (IMHO) London is similar to NYC in that if the restaurant is a real dog, it doesn't survive for long. That said, it never hurts to ask your hotel staff or flat manager for a recommendation based on what it is you like to eat. I have rarely been disappointed in the food I've had in London. Enjoy.

OK While you are at it,,,,

What is a great place for Breakfast in or near the Bloomsbury neighborhood? This does not need to be over the top. Just a solid decent breakfast that can hold the busy traveler until Tea Time,

Oh and a place for Sunday Roast, also in Bloomsbury or environs? One that has great British Beef

thanks
