Warner Bros. Tour in June

Planning a London visit in mid June 2018, two adults and 16 year old. We would like to take the Warner Bros studio tour and it seems that taking the train/bus to get there is not too complicated. My question is which is a better day to go, a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday? Do families fill the place on the weekends? Do school tours visit on school days? Any insight is welcome.

The tour sells out months in advance, so any day of the week you go will be equally as busy as any other.

Getting to the studio is very easy. You take a train from Euston to Watford Junction and then the connecting shuttle bus from there to the studio. It's explained here:

entry, as you probably know, is by timed ticket ... and given that it more often than not sells out any day of the week any month of the year, then theoretically the number of people visiting is always roughly the same

do make sure you buy your tickets well in advance, as soon as you decide which day you want to visit

IT is all the same no matter what day you go. The only difference is the train schedule - weekdays might have more frequent service/commuter trains. Entry is timed so you have the same number of people (they count people off and if you are there early and there is space you can enter early) moving through the first few rooms. Then it opens up and you can go at your own pace.

It is hard to imagine school tours here. This is fake history based on a fictional series - not real history like the Tower of London or Westminster Abbey.

Schools do arrange visits to the HP studios. An excellent idea given how many children got into reading as a result of the HP books. Even more might be encouraged to read them after visiting the Studios.

June and July are also popular times for school trips, so might be worth going at the weekend if you want to avoid them.

We visited July 19 this year and there were plenty of school groups at the time. Compared to those in my country, all school kids were behaving very well. I was very impressed.

It books up months in advance as already mentioned so make sure you book ASAP. As for weekdays or a weekend visit I would just choose which suits you best, there really isn't much in it.

Mid June children are still in school, some start their summer trips but most of them end of June/ July so could be a good gamble to do a weekday.

Regardless, I've been multiple times on weekdays and a weekend and even though sold out it never felt busy once in the tour, so go for whatever suits you.

We are going in March and decided to book tickets on a Wednesday because it was a "discount" day and tickets were slightly cheaper.
