Theatre dinner suggestions?

We'll be in London twice in the next few weeks and would appreciate suggestions for dinner on our theatre evenings. Price isn't a huge barrier, but would like something not to fussy. Not too keen on Indian cusine. Thanks all!

Friday October 26" Going to see Spamalot at The Palace. Staying on Park Lane, if that matters geographically.

Wednesday November 8 seeing Macbeth at the Gielgud. Staying on the Strand.

Thanks again....

What type of food do you like? Eat before or after theatre? Price range?

Have a look at www.toptable.co.uk for ideas, menus and bargains.

There are hundreds of restaurants within 10 minutes stroll.

Other than avoiding Indian fare, pretty much open as to cusine. As mentioned, price is not a factor, Probably best to dine pre-theatre. Thanks.

Chinatown and Soho are adjacent to both theatres. As I said hundreds of places within 5 minutes. Covent Garden is near the Strand and you could eat there - Bertorellis, Cafe du Jardin, Livebait etc, if you wanted to wait until after the performances.
