If you could see any show in London, what would it be?

My husband and I are 36 and want to see a couple of shows while in London in May. Last time we were there we saw Mary Poppins and loved it. We usually tend to like the mainstream shows. What do you recommend?

My choice would be Mamma Mia.

I have already seen it three times (once in English, twice in German), and I would like to see it again.

I would also like to see We will rock you

It wouldn't be a musical. My own choice would be "Speed the Plow" by David Mamet starring Jeff Goldblum and Kevin Spacey. It's good.

I'd second mamma mia. Saw it in February. I saw Grease and Dirty Dancing last year but mamma mia was a good all rounder with plenty of comedy in it. It's nowhat you think its going to be!!

We will rock you is a great show for anyone who enjoys Queen's music - I've seen this twice.

I absolutely love Les Miserable (seen this approx 6 times in the last 20 years) & Phantom of the Opera (seen 4 times - including once in New york). (I'm 39 by the way!)

Saw Wicked here in London this past Saturday because my wife and daughter wanted to see it but my boys and I were very entertained.

I would have to recommend Billy Eliot - an absolutely fantastic theatrical experience.

Im going to see Dirty Dancing because its my moms favorite movie, but...

If i was there when it still was open, Spamalot would be good

I have seen both Wicked and Lion King and both were great! Best I have seen, but I have heard that they are EVEN better in London or New York

I'm not aware of all that's playing at the moment, but I'd like to see The Sound of Music.

(Also, look at Blood Brothers.)
