Sunday Service

Am looking to attend Sunday afternoon Services at either Westminster Cathedral or St. Pauls.

Any Recommendations?

If you're Catholic go to the Westminster, if Protestant St. Paul's.

Thanks for responding to what, in retrospect, was a dumb question.

They're places of Christian worship, not tourist attractions. Pick whichever closest resembles your home church/congregation and see what services are on offer. Larger churches often have several services (High, Low, Latin, etc.) so there's bound to be something to suit.

As a tourist I would suggest you go with St. Pauls. We are Methodists but thoroughly enjoyed the service. There were a number of people like us in the congrgation. While there, I overheard several people mentioning that they were Catholic.

Most of us "out of towners" were there for the music - which was superb.

Just a thought - do you mean Westminster Abbey or Westminster Cathedral ? A common confusion and they aren't that far apart. The Abbey is the big one near the Houses of Parliament and is the location for Coronations etc., it is Church of England, like St Pauls. Westminster Cathedral is nearer to Victoria and is a reddish, Byzantine building - interesting in its own right, but not as well known as a tourist destination.
