The Circle line not to be so Circle in the future

"From December, the line will run to Hammersmith in west London using tracks it shares with District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines."

The new service will run from Hammersmith to Edgware Road station where it will join the Circle Line and make a single loop back to Edgware Road.

It will then reverse and do the full circle anti-clockwise, returning to Hammersmith.

"Hmm, I wonder how this is going to affect people doing the Circle Line pub crawl."

At last a serious question!!

If they had any sense they'd loop the bottom end too: Hammersmith/Baron's Court/ Earl's Court/ Gloucester Road and then call it something else so as to avoid the inevitable confusion; I still get confused with the 'new' Hammersmith and City and still think of it as the Metropolitan. :?

They can't loop the bottom end, as the two Hammersmith stations aren't connected. The overground H&C line stops at one station, you then leave and cross 2 busy roads to get to the other underground station.

'If they had any sense' then my dear, they wouldnt' be TfL, would they? You know better than that!!

Paperclip, schmaperclip, though. Let's add the extension suggested by anemone, then see if we can fold the line up into something resembling a Buckyball. Just for fun.
