Evensong and theater

Is it possible to attend an Evensong at either St. Pauls Cathederal or Westminster Abbey at 5:00 and still attend the theater at 7:30 that night??

I would think so. The evensong services will last 45-60 minutes. But you might want to pick the cathedral/abbey that has the best transport options to the theatre.

Yes, it is. I attended evensong at Westminster Abbey, and had time for a relatively leisurely dinner before seeing "Billy Elliott". IIRC, evensong was over just before 6:00.

It is easiest, as kayb points out, to choose the cathedral/abbey which is closest to your theatre. "Billy Elliott" was playing at the Victoria Palace Theater, which is near to Westminster Abbey.
