Four Ladies Heathrow to Gatwick-Nat'l. Express or Hired Van

We'll be four - each with one suitcase and one carry-on. Would we be well-advised to look into a mini-van transfer rather than relying on National Express....both from an economic point of view and with a eye to which is the least soul-destroying (as described by one recent articulate poster)? If mini-van....which? Thanks in advance.

Since a single (one way) fare on National Express is £19, the price for a car may be about the same as that of the coach.

If your travelling companions aren't used to long haul travel, that might be the clincher. Book a car service and enjoy it as a treat.

Right. Think we'll book a service. With four of us and that much baggage, it would probably need to be a minivan-type booking, wouldn't it? Is there a splendid one? I've read lots of posts, but don't seem to feel a consensus. Thanks.
