London supper

Hi all,

This was originally in the Fish & Chips section. I was advised I'd get a better response with a new thread.

There will be 7 in our traveling party & would like some ideas about where we might eat a nice supper -medium priced ( no Indian / Chinese - 2 picky ones in the group). Even a great pub would work. We're going to be in the Regency PArk area - which I know might not have a lot to pick from, but we can always catch the Tube & take a hop or two to find something worthwhile.

Do you mean you'll be near Regent's Park? If so, you could try the Queen's Head and Artichoke, a gastropub in Albany Street, Regent's Park. Details and menus can be found here:

There's also the Windsor Castle pub by Regent's Park. Reviews rate the food but less so the ambiance:

If you don't mind a chain, there's a branch of Strada in Baker Street. Very good pizzas, and their main courses are consistently decent too.
