We loved Oliver - excellent production! When in London one should see a British musical.

I agree! We are seeing Billy Elliot. Just seems wrong somehow to see something like Chicago or Hairspray (set in Baltimore) when you have a chance to see something English.

Latest hot musical is "Legally Blonde", which should appeal to teens. Otherwise Wicked or Billy Elliot.

Just saw Legally Blonde yesterday. Terrific show.

I'm mulling it over as I write - I think, for a family with teens, I'd err on either Sister Act or Legally Blonde. Legally Blonde is in a smaller theatre so you perhaps get better seats for your pound and feel closer to it all.

Lion King is great too - more spectacular perhaps - but I just think 2 teenagers would enjoy the story and upbeat vibe of Sister A or Legally B more ???

My 16yr old son and 9yr old daughter absolutely loved We Will Rock You. I have also seen it twice and would happily go again. Even my hubby (who hates musicals!) really enjoyed it.

I have also seen Hairspray and it was good but nowhere near as good as WWRY

I think Ave Q closes end March.

I saw it twice, it was so good.

If I was a teenager I'd love it, but would I want to go with adults ??! I wonder if the "naughtier" bits would make them feel a bit squirmy if sat with an "older" generation !? Vice versa probably too ! Puppets up to monkey business - is there an age limit !?!?
